Family Resource Worker (part-time) – Gerringong:
Gerringong Uniting Church is a vibrant, medium sized church with a heart for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with our town & our world. We are biblically-based, Christ-centred & Spirit-filled, and have young families as a mission priority.
We are seeking a resource person who can grow the faith of young families connected to our church. This person will be an equipper, discipler, empowerer, enabler and encourager. Gift development will be a key part of the role.
We seek someone who will not ‘do’ ministry for us, but rather who will grow mature disciples of Christ who can minister themselves. Hours and type of interaction will be flexible (min. 16hrs p/w), with the successful applicant focusing on people not programs.

Senior Pastor - Coastlands Christian Centre Helensburgh
POSITION DESCRIPTION TITLE: Senior Pastor REPORTING TO: Coastlands Inc Board LOCATION: Coastlands Christian Centre, Helensburgh RELATIONSHIPS: Coastlands Inc Board (Elders) Coastlands Ministry Leaders Coastlands Congregation Coastlands Fitness Centre Staff Helensburgh (& surrounds) community
POSITION PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Senior Pastor is to provide leadership to meet Coastlands vision of loving God, loving people, and leading people to follow Jesus Christ. In order to meet this vision the Senior Pastor will provide leadership to both Coastlands Christian Centre and Coastlands Fitness & Lifestyle Centre which are operated by Coastlands Inc.
KEY ACTIVITIES: •Executive leadership to Coastlands Inc. Coastlands Inc incorporates Coastlands Christian Centre and Coastlands Fitness & Lifestyle Centre. •Appointment and leadership for church eldership. •Leadership to Coastlands paid and voluntary staff. •Leadership of all ministry areas including cell groups, music, children, Mother of preschoolers (MOP’s), Fitness & Lifestyle Centre, prayer, missions, •Sunday Message planning and delivery. •Ministry motivation, empowerment and training. •Responsible to ensure all legislative and scriptural laws and principles are applied within the Church. •Model biblical teaching and principles in own life.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: •Qualifications in theology or direct previous experience in pasturing a Church. •Previous experience in Church Leadership and Church Ministry. •Demonstrated leadership and/or organisational skills. •Demonstrated problem and conflict resolution skills. •Love of people with a passion to connect and relate to people. •High level of written, verbal and graphical communications skills. •Outgoing personality would be an advantage for this position. •Business and financial skills would be an advantage for this position.
