The next Pastor's Prayer Breakfast will be held on 29th August 2008 at the Lighthouse Church, 1 Railway Station Square, Wollongong
Breakfast from 7 am to 7.30 am; Prayer from 7.30 am to 8.30 am.

- Women's Life Conference - 29 -30 August 2008
At South Coast City Church Thirroul.
Theme ‘Living Beyond’ - a smorgasbord of speakers, workshops and creativity (including a big 10 year celebration party on the Friday night).
The theme of ‘Living Beyond’ is about living beyond yourself, having a dream from God for your community, for the world beyond your walls.
The conference is also a fundraiser supporting the work of Christian Surfers in South East Asia for a youth centre that educated and ministers to local youth in an effort to break the poverty cycle of the villages.

The CMS Illawarra Mission Encounter 2008 will be held on Saturday 30th August at Figtree Anglican Church. This is an exciting opportunity to meet the newest CMS missionaries Rob and Arabelle Horne, Matthew Taylor & Cathy Harris, and Peter and Sarah Sholl. Rolf Lepelaar, who is currently serving with CMS in Cambodia with his wife Bonnie, will also at the Mission Encounter.

Its primary focus is the work of intercessory prayer and citizen action on behalf of persecuted communities of the Christian faith. We also encourage prayer for the souls of the oppressors, the nations that promote persecution, and those who ignore it.

- Jesus. All About Life (JAAL) - Sydney Campaign - August to September 2009
‘Jesus. All about life’ is a four to six week prime-time media campaign that uses television advertising, supported by radio and print advertising to raise the profile of Jesus and Christian faith. The key message is that Jesus is ‘all about life’. The campaign has already run in Adelaide (August, 2005); Canberra/ACT (March/April, 2006) and Tasmania (September/October, 2007).
